Born in Tehran on the 10th June 1985, M.I.L.A.D a talented young artist, with the ability of being able to write and compose his own music, as well as possessing an exceptional voice is making his mark in the music world. Influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Slim (112) and Justin Timberlake, M.I.L.A.D has developed his own distinctive sound.
M.I.L.A.D. shows 100% commitment and dedication towards his music. Many who have read his work or have heard or seen him perform have been truly touched and inspired. (Please see ‘music comments’ page enclosed) M.I.L.A.D has performed in front of many people; whether it is individuals, groups or a whole live audience. His performances include performing live in front of 2000 people at a major showcase, followed by a performance in aid for the Asian Tsunami and several other charity shows. He’s performed in over several countries where he has an immense fan base such as Germany and Holland. He has also performed at several Universities as part of his university tour in 2007, including a massive and highly successful show at University College London (UCL) and Queen Mary, which gained him many new fans.
His recent performances in 2008 have included opening up for established artists such as Mario, Sisqo and Souljah Boy in front of thousands of people where he sang his popular club song and anticipated 1st release “Love Flow”, again providing the same response as his other performances have provided - people approaching M.I.L.A.D praising his musical ability and asking for autographs. His other performances includes top london venues and clubs such as CC’s, No1 Leicester Square, Cafe De Paris, Aura, Sway, The Loop Bar, Pangea amongst his highly successful shows at O2 Indigo and Hammersmith Palais.
M.I.L.A.D has also achieved a 1 at www.extraplay.com, a site, which receives 20,000, hits each month, with "I Don’t Understand", as well as topping the myspace unsigned charts on many occasions and getting over 3000 hits a day on his page. He is also currently in the Finals of UK Live & Unsigned
M.I.L.A.D hopes to be among the best in the music industry. There is no reason why this will not be become reality, as at the present time he is only 22, and has achieved so much, and shows great potential and determination in succeeding. Having received an offer from a major label in April 2007, which he turned down so he could finish his University degree, as it was a promise to his mum, he can now look forward, with his degree finished to a successful music career. His song “The One” has been released on Shamur’s (Let the music play) new album “Shardana” and is out on Universal. The song has also been play-listed on most of the top UK radio stations and this is an amazing achievement for an unsigned artist. No doubt he has what it takes to succeed as he has all the qualities that a successful artist has, plus his own extra qualities, which makes M.I.L.A.D a distinctive artist and one that is set to take the musical world by storm.
